About the clinic
Christofer Dahlgren is one of the top riders in Europe practicing the Academic Art of Riding.
Christofer is primarily known for his motto: Play, smile, and practice. Before delving into content and lessons, Christofer places the character and psyche of the horse at the center. He aims for horses to meet the demands without stress, making them always feel like superstars. Christofer explains things in a simple, pragmatic, and straightforward manner. The English is easy to understand, and viewers receive many practical tips for training at home.

Christofer`s Philosophy
"Without Relaxation you cannot communicate. Training a horse means always to start with relaxation. So as a rider or trainer, you have to ask yourself: is movement helping the horse to relax or is it work in standing, or playing with the horse to find the key to relaxation. Playing means to me: Smile and pracitce. Find out what your horse likes to do - then smile. The work has to start with a smile in your face. Smiling is importand to avoid mental pressure of the horse ."
Our horses in the clinic
- Lipizzaner Schnucks: 5 years old and starting his career to be a riding horse.
- Warmblood Mix Jana: First time joining a clinic with Christofer. Jana is strong minded and playful, basic riding will be the task.
- Lipizzaner Nikita: A young mare and her human comagnion on the very beginning of the Academic journey.
- Lusitano Mandrake: A very happy horse. The challenge is to maintain joy and fun while slowly but "seriously" engaging in the art of riding.
- Lusitano Power: Lisa wants to let her horse "shine" - so the horse should feel confident and happy.
- Born to canter: Lusitano Inverno will work on transitions, shape in canter and the power of collection under the saddle.
